Corporate events

We’ve had a fantastic week back at Waynes Bar in Nice, France. A quiet night can be hard to come by in there, but even by Waynes’ standards this week felt like summer. The new songs are working really well and are the highlight of the set. Karaoke (or ‘bandaoke’) sundays are always entertaining too! It’s a good challenge to pick songs out at random and play along with members of the crowd, but one we really enjoy.  Thanks to everyone for coming down to see us and dance on the tables!

On wednesday we had a really interesting meeting with one of the top corporate event agencies in France. Over the last three years we’ve become one of the busiest wedding bands in France, and we’re now starting to become more and more involved in corporate events. It’s always refreshing to enter a meeting to hear ‘we’ve heard a lot of good things about you’! The agency organise hundreds of corporate events in both France and worldwide yearly, and we’re looking forward to working with them on a regular basis. Last year we played corporate events such as the Monaco Grand Prix (on a yacht overlooking the race, transported by speed boat – a day to remember!), Cannes Film Festival, Monaco Yacht Show in France, and various events for large companies throughout Europe. Should you be hosting a corporate event please feel free to get in touch with us via the contact page, and look through the corporate event page should you require information about our technical specifications (these are a must should we be required to fly).

Corporate Band in France

One of the best perks of being in a band in France is the sheer beauty of the venues. Admittedly, 18th century castles aren’t the easiest places to load in and out of, but they more than make up for it in every other sense, and you can really smell the history. We’ve recently taken another booking at Chateau de Robernier which is one of our favourite venues in France.  The owners Rune and Cecile are lovely people who really put their all into every event there. They are easy to work with and the chateau is a stunning venue for either a wedding or a corporate event. We’re really looking forward to some great events there this summer, two of which are Irish weddings to over 100 people which are always lively affairs! Take a look at their website here – www.chateauderobernier.com
